Hello, I'm glad you're here.
I believe that healing happens when we are able to tune in and listen to our authentic selves with compassion and acceptance. We often learn to hide or deny parts of ourselves in order to stay emotionally or physically safe in childhood. While originally adaptive, this can shape how we see the world, ourselves, and others in it and lead to suffering. I aim to create a safe space for my clients to share their story and be heard with compassion, curiosity, acceptance, and empathy.
I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Biology and my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Arkansas. I have also completed a 200 hr. trauma-informed yoga teacher training through Mindfulness Connection (formerly Big Rock Yoga) and am registered with Yoga Alliance (RYT200). Additionally, I am EMDR trained. In my practice, I utilize a neuro-informed, relational approach that emphasizes the connection between mind and body. My practice is secular, neurodiversity-affirming, and LGTBQIA2S+-affirming.
